The Adobo

Adobo is an authentic Filipino dish. Everyone loves it through its simple ingredients, it magically gives you an unexplainable good taste. Aroma and flavor combined in this dish.

Ingredients:

1/2 kilo Fresh cut chicken (adobo cut)
3 tbsp Crushed garlic
1 tbsp Black pepper
2 pcs Bay leaf
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup Soy sauce
3/4 cup Vinegar
2 cup Water

Instructions:


1. Combine all the ingredients in a pan.
2. Cook over a high heat and brings to boil. Don’t mix the ingredients until the vinegar and soy sauce set.
3. Reduce the heat to medium, simmer it for 45 minutes. If you want to have a thick sauce, remove the cover and simmer for like 5 minutes more.

Optional


1. You may add some ingredients to your adobo dish, like potatoes or pineapple. It add flavor and color to your Adobo dish.
2. You can also top some toasted garlic, for richer flavor.
A good adobo is depend on your preference, there are many ways to make it best. Some want to have lots of liquid, but some want to reduce the sauce until it gets thick, to do that, cook it longer.
