One Day at Khay’s Desserts and Café

Last Monday I had lunch at the cutest place I ever been, the Khay’s Desserts and Café. Oh di ba bongga cupcakes lang for lunch. Lakas maka girl peg, diet dietan. Anyways, back to kwento, super cute talaga nung place. Girl na girl ang look. Khay’s is owned by one from Jaro family.

Donnie, a very close friend of mine introduced me to this place. When he first tried to taste their desserts, he fell in love with it, lalo na yung carrot cake daw. (Sold out nga yung carrot cake when we went there that time.)

Since it is my first time to visit the place, I instantly asked what’s their best selling flavor in cupcakes. The staff said two, the Little Red Riding Hood and Salty Albert. I got Little Red Riding Hood (na curios kasi ako name) and a pot of hot Peppermint Chocolate Tea. While Donnie ordered Salty Albert, Snow White’s Temptation and a jar of Lychee and Peach Iced Tea.

Few cupcakes are left. Mabenta kasi.

A dozen of small size cupcakes comes in different flavor. For first timer bongga ito.

Their famous Little Red Riding Hood, and fancy looking Lunchbox Favorite which is a banana cake with peanut butter.

Vanilla cake with yema frosting.

The Little Red Riding Hood. Velvet cake with cream cheese frosting. Masyadong matamis yung frosting for me, siguro intended ito to compliment the cake.

Another best seller, the Salty Albert. Ito talaga ang nagustuhan ko, the taste is so bongga! I recommend this for you to try.

Peppermint Chocolate Tea for Php 80.00 can be share by two. I’m a coffee and tea liker plus bet ko din yung mga minty flavor. Sana pala I try the fruity flavored one.

The Drink List. From hot to cold concoctions. Choose from a wide range of drinks, whether you’re a coffee addict or a tea lover.

Khay’s is not only limited to cupcakes they also serve other food like pastas and sandwiches.

Another cupcake to try, especially for those nutella fan.

I have to grabbed some photos from Khay’s facebook page.

This is Donnie’s favorite, the Carrot cupcake.

You can also try their fondue, perfect ito for two, para sa mahaba habang chikahan.

Khay’s also do cake customizing.

Donnie. Kapag sinabi niya na masarap, masarap talaga. May duda pa ba?

Accommodating at naka ngiti lagi.

Summer activity, learn how to create your own cupcake design.
